Ono Hawaiian BBQ

I recently visited Ono Hawaiian BBQ and ordered the BBQ beef and chicken katsu with rice and macaroni salad. The BBQ beef was dry and flavorless, and the chicken katsu was crispy on the outside and over cooked. The rice was fine, but the macaroni salad was very dry and lacked the creamy flavor I was expecting. The biggest disappointment was that my order didn't include any of the sauces, which really affected the overall meal since they're an important part of the experience. With fresher macaroni salad and making sure the sauces are included, this could have been a much better visit. I hope they pay closer attention to these details in the future.

The white fish and muzubi were amazing although I also got the bbq platter with ribs beesf and chicken and the chicken and ribs were not that good but i loved the beef. The rice is well seasoned and so is the cabbage. My step mom likes it as well as she is pescatarian and she also said that this place unlike most others does not have breading on the fish or at least not the 8.99 aloha platter that she ordered. Although i would not come here often i can see myself returning in the future to try out their other offers. THE CRAB RANGOON IS 10/10 SO IF YOU GO HERE IT IS A MUST TRY

I come here about once a month and order the fish plate. It comprises of three big pieces of fried fish, lots of rice and vegetables for about $14. Its comes with alot of food, I have never finished all of it in one sitting. I really like the taste of the fish, but I do cover it with a good amount of tartar sauce. The rice and vegetables taste fresh. It does take a while to get the food, but I imagine the fish is being fried at the moment, so I can live with the wait. I can't say anything else about the other menu options because I only come here for the fish. The people at the counter can be really friendly, and sometimes they can be meh.

Food is amazing. I love eating here and not crazy pricey. Food doesn't taste or seem superrr unhealthy and everything I've had is delicious. Sometimes we buy 1 and make some rice 🍚 at home then split it and it's still quite a bit and super good. Staff are super nice and keep it very well stocked and clean. We grab a ton of sauce while here and they've never said anything. I recommend coming here, making this review made me hungry just thinking about it.

Ono has always been a reliable food option. The food is tasty and we love that they offer steamed veggies. At this location parking was easy and seating plenty. Food came out fast and delicious. I’m glad I’m able to substitute the rice for Mac salad since I like their Mac salad. We enjoyed the Hawaiian beef and chicken katsu. The portion is pretty big for what you pay for.
